NetHooks Inc - a new professional networking site is looking for Social Platform Developers to join our team. Candidate must be based in the US or Canada, preferably San Francisco, Mountain View or Palo Alto. You can join our team as part time/ full time employee or as a contractor (and even if you haven’t quite finished your degree yet, we will still like to talk to you).

Applicant must be experienced with PHP, MYSQL, AJAX, XML and working with API’s. Previous experience with Facebook application (developing apps, or just deep knowledge of how it works) is a must. Candidate must also be a heavy user of Facebook, LinkedIn or Plaxo.

The Social Platform Developer will design, build or maintain a scalable, flexible platform to support a wide array of social / professional networking features and functionalities. Position will be responsible to factor commonality and viral techniques into a common base of code that gets used across all our applications.
