Summary:

The Product Manager - Television will drive product development throughout the entire product life-cycle.  This position will be responsible for all Watercooler television products across Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, Friendster, Orkut, Hi5, and the web.

• Experience managing consumer Internet products.
• Familiarity with American television and culture.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Television product strategy across platforms in the rapidly changing social networking space.
• Improve and optimize existing television community and gaming product lines, and launch new products.
• Carry forward the product design and release process: working with interaction designer to design and spec new products, and with engineering to test and release.
• Bake “marketing” programs into products from inception via new platforms-specific marketing channels.
• Work with media partners to implement programs.

Requirements:

1. 1-3 years of professional experience at successful Internet companies in a product role
2. “Gets” working in an early stage start-up environment
3. Strong quantitative abilities (statistics, engineering, or financial academic background preferred)
4. Highly referenceable background with track record of impressive successes
5. Academic background from a top-tier university
