Internet advertising company seeks passionate Facebook guru to help grow affiliate business in the social networking space.

Gratis Internet is looking to hire a Facebook savvy customer account manager interested in joining their Facebook application affiliate monetization team.  This hybrid position will include responsibilities in customer account management, customer service and sales.  This position will work to develop affiliate marketing opportunities within a fast-moving Gratis team and also directly with customers who use our network.  You’ll be learning from some of the top minds in internet advertising, work in a great environment with zero corporate BS and a supportive management team that frequently awards “hero” status to top performing employees.  A strong sense of humor is a must.

We are looking for someone who has embraced the social networking revolution (read: loves Facebook) and has an interest in advertising.  This position requires excellent communication skills and all candidates should have an interest in developing their sales experience.  This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional recent graduate to work in business development in a start-up like environment.

The successful candidate will flourish in a team environment and will demonstrate a strong work ethic. Candidate must be well-organized and able to manage multiple projects.  The position will be responsible for achieving customer satisfaction metrics and helping to achieve the team’s monthly sales goals.

The position will report to the Vice President of Business Development.

The Responsibilities:

  • Help grow our affiliate marketing business in the social networking space.
  • Adeptly communicate with potential and current customers in a transparent online forum environment.
  • Help shape future offerings based on an understanding of customer feedback and competitive intelligence.
  • Manage relationships with customers.  Help identify and solve their issues and work with them to grow their revenue.
  • Act as the dedicated resource that tracks and reports major news and updates relating to Facebook and other platforms, as well as the social networking application space in general.
  • Attend relevant trade shows and industry conferences to build relationships and track industry trends.

The Requirements:

  • Team player that is able to implement tasks independently but enjoys working within a team to achieve success.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.  Ability to cultivate relationships with internal team members, customers and senior management.
  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Previous customer management skills preferred.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic atmosphere.
