Social Media Networks is looking for upbeat, focused and well-organized individuals to join our Sales and Business Development team.
You must be comfortable making dozens of cold calls a day, fielding zillions of inbound inquiries, generating interest, qualifying prospects, building solutions and closing sales of $500 to $100k. You must also have demonstrated experience prospecting and growing an account list, as well as closing sales.
This position will be focused primarily on originating relationships with application developers to use our management services, deploy Socialmedia network advertising with their applications, and advertise their own applications within the network. The job will entail evangelism, outreach, network development, and old-fashion sales. We are fast growing, fun, entrepreneurial, and truly, a great place to build the next big thing. Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
- Lead generation/outbound calling and warm lead follow up.
- Understand developer needs and requirements.
- Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits of our Social Ads and developer services.
- Be able to sell and differentiate in a competitive environment.
- Provide on-line demonstrations.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly sales quotas.
- Work very closely with Developers, our developer marketing team, and with advertisers and agencies large and small.
- Evangelize the effectiveness of our services directly to developers and on blogs, at conferences, and through networks.
- Manage related operations, troubleshooting and systems for inserting ads, managing accounts and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in online advertising, social networks, and applications.
- Direct and relevant experience with applications and application development.
- BA/BS degree.
- Technically proficient, familiar with standard productivity, sales management, and reporting systems.
- Excellent communications capabilities.
- Ability to mange entire sales process from prospecting through close.
- Ability to manage in high activity, high transaction environment.
- Experience in closing deals in the $500-$100k range.
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals with a serious work ethic are required.
- Proven track record in inside sales.
- Ability to meet and exceed individual sales targets on a consistent basis.
- Flexible, fun, action-oriented and zealous attitude.
