Safe Call Now is a non-profit that provides crisis intervention and referral services to public safety employees. It is a niche audience, but the data suggests that it is reaching more than one million people. The company’s page strategy revolves around sharing pictures, but the relevance of the content to the organization is not always clear. The most shared posts are ones featuring a like call to action and a picture of a classic actor.

Facebook publishing tool PostRocket shared a blog post last week about five common Facebook marketing mistakes. In this case, Safe Call Now is committing mistake No. 2. Instead of representing the non-profit, the page is sharing irrelevant content that doesn’t actually build the brand or spread its message. However, because the page’s like count is so low, it is possible the page is enjoying how viral these posts have gone and could be gaining fans to market to in the future.

WSPA stands for World Society for the Protection for Animals. It has three regional pages in the top five of this week’s list. It has yet to adopt global pages, but there may an internal reason for this. For instance, each division might be running its own events and organization so it might not be ready to unify the pages under a single global page. However, if the organization did adopt global pages, it would see a total PTAT over 500k when including regions not in this week’s top 10.
