Facebook Manager of Public Policy Cory C. Owens today announced that he would be leaving the company to work for car services startup Uber. Owens worked out of Facebook’s D.C. office. The company put up a job listing for his position two weeks ago but it has not been filled.

Facebook did remove 27 other job listings from its careers page this week, suggesting that the company made hires for its legal, sales, marketing, data center, measurement and other teams.
