Breakdown of Facebook user growth by quarter and geography: Q2 2012
Facebook announced new growth achievements today: 955 million monthly active users as of June 30, and an average of 552 million daily active users in June. Mobile MAUs were 543 million as of June 30, an increase of 67 percent year-over-year.

Many interesting statistics were revealed including the number of monthly users on mobile, which has increased 3.5 times since 2010. Facebook has 955 million active users, and of these they have reported that 85% of them are creating content, this can be anything from uploading content to the site or clicking ‘like’ on a page.
