As we previously reported, an incredible rise of television shows and musicians that hadn’t previously graced our list began shortly after Facebook began converting profile interests into links to Pages in late April. So, if someone liked the show “Scrubs,” they automatically became a fan; multiplied thousands of times over these changes resulted in significant gains for some Pages.

This week we began to see these changes wane and the list’s composition beginning to return to its former composition, where Zynga’s Texas Hold’em Poker and Mafia Wars reigned and Facebook, Starbucks and FaceMoods were frequently also on top.

Number 1 on the list this week was the Converse All Star shoe company Page, adding 785,431 fans to grow to 3.4 million; this Page experienced the bulk of this growth, 773,500, on a single day, which might allude to a Page consolidation.

Second was the show “Family Guy,” adding 430,200 fans to reach an audience of 8.3 million. The Page has been less active since the season finale, but the Page administrator is still promoting the show’s iPhone app. The band Snow Patrol came in third, adding almost 320,000 fans to reach just under 743,000 fans as the band recently headlined a big show in Ireland, plugging the show and merchandise for most of last week.

Zynga’s top two games came in fourth and fifth. Mafia Wars, number 4, added 316,000 fans and now has a base of 12.4 million; the Page admins plugged virtual goods almost daily last week. Next, in fifth place, was Texas Hold’em Poker, adding 303,400 fans to pass 19.1 million; the Page had steady growth promoting virtual goods and the game’s pots, even incorporate the upcoming Soccer/Football World Cup theme.

Television shows and one movie were also on the list. The “House” Page came in at number 7, adding 262,000 fans to a base of 6.6 million by promoting re-runs on the Page. The “Dr. House” Page, which is for fans of the show’s main character, also grew this week, adding 171,000 fans to see a total of 5.9 million with no activity on the Page’s Wall. The movie “Dirty Dancing” grew by 261,500 fans to reach 2.6 million this week and “South Park” added 184,500 fans to hit 5.6 million.

Three frequent Pages on our list before the days of linking profile interests to Pages were on the list this week. FaceMoods, makers of emoticons, promoted new features and grew by 183,400 fans to 2.9 million in the number 13 spot. Facebook’s Page followed and grew 177,800 fans to reach 9.6 million, then there was Starbucks at number 14, adding 177,000 fans to reach 7.5 million.

In addition to Snow Patrol, many musicians were on the list this week, composing almost half the list.

Lady Gaga was at number 6, adding more than 300,000 fans to a base of more than 8.1 million; the songstress is currently on a world tour, has a hit summer single and the video is set to premiere soon. Teenage pop star Justin Bieber took the number 9 slot, adding 257,600 fans to a current base of 4.7 million. Bieber has been promoting his official newsletter as a Facebook landing tab, is releasing a new single he’s been promoting, on tour, appearing on U.S. television shows and so has seen steady growth.

Michael Jackson’s Page was tenth, adding 214,500 fans to 12.5 million with mostly news updates. Rapper Lil Wayne is still promoting his fall release date from prison and came in eleventh, adding 189,000 fans to come in just under 5 million fans. Linkin Park, at number 16, added 175,000 fans to a base of 5.6 million as the band readies to releases a new album and sets up tour dates in Germany.

Metallica, promoting a film and tour dates in Japan, came in at 17, adding 173,600 fans to reach a base of 4.3 million. Taylor Swift followed at 18, adding 173,300 fans to pass 5 million; she’s currently on tour and otherwise promoting herself and her music. Drake, who is currently selling pre-orders of a new album, closed the list at number 20 by adding 170,300 fans to grow to 1.9 million.
