Great article Justin. You're right -- Facebook must tread lightly because of its tricky position in the ecosystem: it must satisfy app developers to keep them on its Platform and simultaneously not kill the offer networks who have enabled users to earn virtual currency (which drives increased engagement and time spent on Facebook) without paying cash for it.

We at gWallet are confident that Facebook will take time and care to make the right decisions that appease everyone.

I agree. There has been a very intense movement from Facebook and eCommerce websites to become more business oriented. I think that Facebook's focus in previous years towards gathering customers has made it a clearly obvious move for businesses to try and generate traffic through building relationships with social medias.

I work for ShopTab (http://www.facebook.com/ShopTabApp) which is Facebook application that allows customers to continue to build those relationships by allowing companies to sell their products directly on their Facebook fan-page.

Check us out at http://www.shoptab.net and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks,
–Kevin (http://www.twitter.com/shoptab)

> The thinking here is that since large developers have gotten a lot more aggressive in aligning their interests with Facebook by spending a major piece of their marketing budgets on Facebook Ads, Facebook’s policy enforcement team might skip over some of their usual checks when reviewing their apps.

Already happening!
