However, “we’re an international company/product” is a very general statement that can be equally applied to all of Facebook's past and future translations. Instead of a growth / market share play (despite some growth in Japan), this seems to be more of a "we're an international company/product" play, and possibly a nod to the many developers coming out of China-Japan-Korea.
