This happened to me last week! A boss/co-worker received a supposed Facebook invitation reminder from "me" to his work email address and then proceeded to copy his response to me to all in the office (including HIS boss) about how inappropriate this was. Being the only female in an office of married men, I was quite embarrassed as it appeared as if I was trying to solicit him as a friend, and I had no way of vindicating myself.
