Bret and Arseny, of course I'm assuming everyone is using internal analytics. The problem is that is slow, expensive, and only leads to relatively local maximums. Those are not deal breakers for the top developers, but the lack of any useful public comparable metrics really slow downs down the pace of iteration across the board.

In general, most devs uses internal analytics to track this stuff, but transparency from Myspace would certainly help Myspace become a platform that journalists and analysts talk about more. Every one love watching the horserace of DAU/MAU between the top developers.
