The winners should also be awarded "Best Share Croppers"

Maybe it is time that members realize that being a part of the facebook community is very much like being a share cropper. You grow the food, but you cant own the land that you cultivate. You are only allowed a few crumbs to survive until your hard labor produces the next crop.

It is time for the community to take back their content and to receive a benefit for the fruits of their content an actions.

At adelph.us we believe that members that are selling products and members that build a strong community following can work hand in hand. We belive that giving all members of the community the ability to earn revenue and build intrest is a key to having a community where there always exist an opportunity to create and share.

All products that are added to a members adelph.us store are automatically available for resell by any other members of the community. The default affiliate rate for all products in adelph.us stores is 5% of the product sale price. Sellers can opt to change this to a higher rate.

All members have the option of sharing the revenue from product sells with; friends, or groups.

In addition to this adelph.us will donate a portion of its revenue to the adelph.us community bank each time a product is sold.

When a member sees a product on adelph.us that the would like to sell; all they need to do to is click the “Resell This” link that is at the bottom of all product details pages. Once this is done the product is added to the members store where it is available for purchase by other members.

Unlike facebook adelph.us is open source, so if you do want to make changes and have your own version you are "Free" to do so.

Quick Note: Kontagent was the only FBFund recipient that was not an app, but instead an (analytics) platform that sits on top of FB =)

Hey Justin: New release coming soon... check back with us soon ;)

Partly it's sour grapes, but some of these winners look ridiculous:

Twenty20 Cricket - the same as the other "train your team" games (there are football and basketball ones I know of).

The events organizing ones (Party Buzz + Black Drumm) - if a trip is that important, you will probably organize it offline, and if it isn't that important then Facebook's own events application is fine.

vDream Racing - looks the same as the other "get the best car" games.

Pongr - I just don't understand why a price comparison website needs to be on Facebook.

Check my Campus and Koofers - these will probably suffer from the same problem as lots of social websites, the fact that no one will bother putting anything on there until people read it, and no one will read it until people put stuff on there.

Bottle Rocket - I don't really know why this is on a social network, there are tons of restaurant review apps and people don't use them, why will they use a wine review app instead?

Newsbrane - Google recommends news stories based on past behavior already.

Socialfly - I think that I saw the pitch for this application, and it just struck me that it was over engineering a solution. I can't imagine people spending a minute to read a database before speaking to someone, and then another minute updating a database after speaking to them.

Maybe I'll be proved wrong and some of these will be big successes. But I checked the past Fb Fund winners the other day, and the app with the most activity had 52,000 monthly active users. Some had less than 200.

Congrats to all the winners! Lots of these apps sound really awesome. The fbFund team - Cat, Julia, and the crew, put a huge amount of effort into this competition. As a recipient, I'm really thankful for everything they've done.

My app Socialfly is on here, though we're not yet released. We have a preview app up @ apps.facebook.com/socialfly if you'd like a sneak peek at what we're doing.
We also have a Blog and of course you can follow us on twitter!
