Update: Facebook Adds App Shortcuts to Chat Bar
Earlier today, Facebook told developers that recent updates to the site which made applications harder to find were “definitely not final”. Developers (and users) will be glad to hear that this afternoon, Facebook just moved the Applications menu and added application shortcut icons to the menu bar at the bottom of every Facebook page.
You can see them in the bottom left portion of this screenshot:
This design update makes applications more accessible to users, without being spammy – users can choose which applications, if any, they want to add to their shortcut menu.

Any idea on when we will see the changes? Because that is not in place on my account.

Not visible to me either…
What $15B company plays with a live redesign the day before it launches? Don’t they realize that some developers are supporting business on their Platform?

It’s not like it required any changes on the developer’s end… I don’t see what the problem is. It’s a good enhancement.
