Facebook Wants Your Feedback on New Profile Page Layout
July 9th, 2008
As the beta launch of the Facebook profile redesign next Monday nears, a few design details are still up in the air. This morning, Facebook is asking users and developers for feedback on a new profile page layout: moving your profile picture and application profile boxes to the right rail. You can email your feedback to profilespreview@facebook.com.
Option 1: Profile Photo and Apps on Right
Option 2: Profile Photo and Apps on Left

it might not be Monday 14th. it can easily be Sunday 20th as it is week commencing 14 July
have they narrowed it further so a July 15th launch is not going to materialise and people might be like ‘told you so - not launched on schedule but they still 6 more days!’

I see facebook is selling out and will soon turn into the vastly hated, yet still used, myspace.

They should just make it so you can interchange the two or what people would consider “customizing” their page. Either way nobody will really care it’s not enough to keep people from creeping.

I seriously feel that every member at Facebook should be able to change the layout of their personal page. It gives the member to use their own expression and choose a cool or pretty layout. I love how myspace allow’s us to do that and be free to decorate our page the way we like to. It will not change the view of Facebook or be compared to myspace. It gives the freedom go where we choose. People belong to different email’s. Some people have friends in one group or another. At least giving the option instead of restricting the users to a boring traditional page.
