New Updates to Facebook Profile Redesign

Facebook pushed a new version of the profile redesign to the sandbox tonight.
The new changes eliminate the Wall tab in favor of a unified Feed tab with three filters: All Posts, Wall Posts, and Posts by the profile owner.
The “Posts by the profile owner” filter currently includes status updates and notifications associated with Facebook’s own applications such as Photos and Pages. Third party application feed stories appear to reside solely on the “All posts” filter.
Through the Facebook Profiles Preview page, which now has over 118,000 fans, Facebook has actively sought user feedback regarding having a separate Wall tab versus a combined Feed with filtering options for wall posts/recent activity. It appears that Facebook is moving toward the latter.

With 118,000 testers you have to ask yourself, are they really listening to them?
Gathering feedback from 118,000 different people is a hell of a job and they are going to get endless amounts of conflicting desires and comments.
