As a MySpace addict for several years -and- an advent user of the "Own Your Friends" app I think that the new rules are well founded. The apps generated comments that most MySpacers [including myself for a long time] thought were spam comments. In getting involved with the OYF app I found myself being forced to send comments that I did not want to send but had to in order to play the game. I will say that I have found the apps to be very helpful in permoting interaction between MySpacers who were not friends but became friends via the common use of the apps. I have also found that the apps generated a common grounds upon which to interact with friends who were formerly "folder friends" since you really had very little in common. Since one has the option as to whether the app is displace on the profile it is a matter of what each individual decides to do. Overall I find I am in favor of the apps and the new rules.

i think most of these apps are silly and just clutter your profile making them hard to use and read. Some are useful but most are an eye sore.
