Users have a low threshold for this type of nonsense. Since anyone with 1/2 a brain and firebug will be able to watch ajax calls over the wire, it's only going to be a matter of weeks before no user wants any applications anymore because of the script kiddies filling their apps with unwanted junk - injecting porn into iLike movies and sending gifts with links to spam to every MySpace user to start. They really need the security bits in place. Launching without security will spell death for many applications and possibly the entire MySpace OpenSocial platform.
