Is it possible to track my personal facebook account with google analytics?

I am trying to use a utm parameter in my url for my facebook ads to track hits with analytics, and it keeps on rejecting the url. Anyone have experience with this?

Has anyone had any issues implementing the Google Analytics code within their canvas pages? Can you use the latest tracking code, or do you still have to use the legacy tracking code? Can someone post the sample code to insert into your canvas page? I believe that I am using the correct code, but my application isn’t displaying properly now…

True enough, 2dude. However, that’s not in general the best solution since many devs already use google to track that data, given that its interface is a lot handier than what you could whip up on your own in a short time.

It hasn’t been impossible… you just have to have your server-side application record the data you need, instead of relying on lame JS includes.
