Digg’s new Facebook App lets you show the 5 items you’ve most recently Dugg right on your profile. It’s simple, handy, and easy to use.

But more interesting is that by allowing apps like Digg onto the site, Facebook is risking cannibalizing its own apps – in this case, Posted Items. Will people Digg items found through the Facebook grid? Will Facebook sharing or Digging be more popular on Facebook?
